It was so nice to see families out having fun, chatting, catching up with friends and teachers, kids enjoying cotton candy, playing games and patiently waiting for creative face paints!! Thank you to all those that made such a wonderful evening possible. This Sherwood Park community is such a part of my large family!

Twenty seven eager students + 30 iPads = Intense concentration. FUN Our first iPad session was good!! It is amazing to see how quickly students acquire skills, share what they've discovered and problem solve with new technology. Our class is taking on the responsibility of iPad maintenance for the school year! It is a learning curve for all of us. Technology will be another tool to use in our class, so look out for our new learnings!  Isn't it amazing how little time it takes for us to feel as though we never left school?
You are settling back into the school and classroom routines. September is such a busy month..... please remember to take a deep breath, smile and continue to go forward.
